Photos with Fire is an ongoing project which I began on Hallowe'en 1988. Every year subsequently, I have
revisited the idea. There are a few basic rules. One, I must incorporate some type of fire source in the photos. Two, the
picture-taking should begin on October 31st. Three, I must attempt something new each year. Sometimes the changes are subtle, occasionally
they are drastic. Each time, no matter how much is planned out in advance, seems to bring surprises. The process, by nature,
is magical!
